Has anyone added the K&N Air Filter...if so how do you like it....also how about the High Performance K&N Oil Filter....Thanks...

 

I added the K&N air filter I did not notice any difference and reports are that the stock Ford air filter will filter your air better then a K&N so I say stick with the stock one. The K&N oil filters were a quality filter when they were made here in the U.S. But a few years ago production moved to China so not sure on the quality now. The stock Motorcraft FL-500 oil filter is a quality oil filter and is more then up to the task.

 

The dealer installed A K&N air filter in my 2014 GT/CS as part of the Trackey install. I honestly can't say that the K&n made any difference, but the Trackey part of it rocks.

 

Dumb question, what's the Trackey? Can it be installed on a 2015 GT?

 

Don't think there's one out for the 15 yet. Right now only the Boss 302 and the 2014.5 GT with manual transmission have them.

It's a separate calibration loaded into the instrument cluster and then tied to a separate "track key." So you run the stock tune with the stock key ("black key") and the track tune with the track key (or "red key") It adds the Pro Cal tune, lopey idle, launch control, and pit lane speed control.
