2015 GT Issue - Startling grinding noise

Hi all, 3,330 miles on my 2015 Mustang GT, and god forbid the squealing brakes is the only issue with the car! The latest issue I wanted to see if anyone else has had is this - four times it has happened, where about 3 seconds after pulling out from a parked position while driving normally (3 times was in my garage, once outside in a parking lot) the car would suddenly jerk/stop with a rather distinct grinding noise. I *think* it's the sound of gears, but not sure?? (I have an automatic). But it lasts for a second or two and then is done.

I also believe I saw a little puddle on the street or some sort where this happens, but can't be sure about that.

ANY ideas on what the heck this is? I say it's startling because you really don't expect the car to suddenly jerk like that (it doesn't completely stop but definitely slows you down suddenly). The reason I am also concerned is I saw that video of the 2015 Mustang in Los Angeles that was drag racing and crashed - it started from a complete stop and obviously something wrong happened within a couple seconds to cause it to spin out of control. Crazy thought but it crossed my mind.

Any chance the stability control is malfunctioning and applying the brakes to one wheel?
