I can't believe I am having such a hard time finding threads or you tube documenting gains on Eco boost Mustang with CAI, turbo back exhaust and a tune yet!

Common, post up someone!

Actually, yes. Mishimoto is the one that has done that I've seen.

Ok, I found a video showing the Eco Boost with a 12.6 pass and a dyno chart showing 327 WHP & 427 WTQ...but there were no Mod. details. If that is a car that has CAI,full exhaust and tune. I am not that impressed, I would expect around 350 WHP & 460 WTQ...or at least that's what I was hoping to see.

But I do think that this car had more than a tune and intake since the BAMA car with those mods made a slower .3 sec pass on 1/4 mile with perfect conditions and drag radials.

Now I want to see someone put a header, better fuel solution(if needed) on this thing and do it again. I really hope these engines will do 400HP on a stock turbo and block.

I've read they pop close to 500. Turbo back, intake, custom E tune would make for some decent numbers though.

You mean 500 WTQ right? That would be ridiculous amount on a stock block + turbo. I really hope that is true, but I remain skeptical until there is some proof.

The 12.6 JLP pass was completely stock, including tires. They were running a 50/50 fuel mix, though.

Umm, 12.6 is GT w/Drag radial territory. I kinda doubt a stock EcoBoost, even using 50/50 mix would post that number.

I guess you can quit doubting.

Still, very impressive for a tune only car.

Be careful. I said a tuned car wasn't stock and got ALLLLLL the flames for it. So yes, it is not stock!

Sorry to hear that...because your not wrong. Anyone who says their car is stock and has tuned the ECU beyond manufacturer specs or even tuned using Ford racing procal and the like is just ignorant. About the only exception to the rule is if the ECU was updated by your dealer to address some known problem with your factory tuning.

Flame away.

The title of the video even says Stock only tune.

2015 Mustang Ecoboost 4Cyl is Shockingly Quick! - Tune Only by JLP - YouTube
That was the point of the video. Stock with Tune only. :/ lol

I think in this case, the pint being it had no other changes, including tires. I'd agree if they think that's 100% stock, someone is misinformed. In fact, I am willing to bet that aggressive of a tune will eat the engine in no time.

(There was also another thread where someone had posted stock, tune only but it turns out they'd put drag radials on too - it was also slightly slower. I'll see if I can dig that info up. That shouldn't be considered stock/tune only)

I just had my car on the dyno on 3/20. I have an Ecoboost w/Performance Package. My upgrades are an Airaid CAI w/dry filter, Borla Sport Axleback exhaust, and a BAMA 93 tune. Results were 321whp and 355wtq. I wish I had done a dyno at bone stock first. There is no way it rolled of the dealer lot at 310whp from the factory, considering how much of a performance difference there was with the tune applied.

I thought the 310 factory rating was at the crank, not wheels.
