I have a 98 4.6 dohc cobra motor that won't run. I just replaced the ecm. The mechanic thinks I need to reprogram the ecm and turn of the anti-theft program. Does anyone know if those tuners from American Mucsle can do that? Or do I have to take it to a tuner?

Yeah I tried the dealership but they said the anti-theft cpu was missing so the ecm couldn't get a signal to reprogram the keys. They want $500 to install a new one. The thing is it hasn't had it since I've owned it. That's why the mechanic thinks the ecm was tuned and the anti-theft shut off.
