Smile AA77 2013 HP GT/CS Build Thread.

Hello CS owners,

I want to share with you what I have done on my car so far!! with more to come in the near future.

Exrerior:

- Shelby Alcoa Wheels 50th Anniversary Edition.

- MMD Black 2013 Grill Surround.

- Trufiber Carbon Fiber Mirror Cover.

- GT500 Rear Valance.

- AM Gloss Black Roof Decal.

Interior:

- Real Carbon Fiber Dash overlay.

- Katzskin Black Leather Interior kit with red Suede insert.


Performance:

- BBK Cold Air Intake.

- Full GT500 Borla Touring Exhaust system, X-Pipe-Mid pipes-Touring Mufflers. ( Except the Headers.

- SCT Wireless Tuner With Bama 93 Octane Tunes ( Currently using 93 Racing Tune)

- Wilwood Front 6 Piston Brakes powder-coated Red with 2 piece rotors slotted and drilled.

- Wilwood Rear 4 Piston Brakes powder-coated Red with 2 piece rotors slotted and drilled.

- Ford Racing Lowering Springs.

- Whiteline Front Sway bar.

- Whiteline Rear sway bar.



I Still have a lot of things to do, please share your opinions my dear friends.

Nice mods you got there. I'm very interested on how easy or hard it is to install the Wilwood brakes. I've heard that the rears are a PITA to install. Thanks

Thanks, I installed through professional shop. They did the fronts with their eyes closed, but the rears were time consuming and complicated a bit as they had to pull the axels out to install them. it took them about 10 hours to do the rears and to make very sure its good to go!! but definitely worth it!!

10 hrs is a lot $$☺

Nice upgrades.
I am interested in the slotted/drilled rotors as well. BUT,....10 hours install,....
Why is that? Because it's a two piece and the hat sizes are different?

Again, very nicely done. I too am interested in hearing more about your Wilwoods. How do you like their stopping power compared to stock?

tell me about it!! They said if we knew it will be this hard we wouldn't accepted this job!! but they did a great job.

thanks, I don't have that much of experience, but I believe they had to take the axles out and modify them a bit for the rear brakes fit. They are not same as stock, they are drum brakes. They took their time installing to insure a perfect install process.

Thanks, the braking power is amazing.. as they say, it would stop on a dime lol.
