2014 Mustang GT/CS After 1 Week

I am going with the Roush splitters and chin too. I'm gonna wait till my suspension arrives and get them done while she's on the hoist.
they do look natural on the car, especially after some lowering.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, ordered the axle backs weeks before the car was delivered. I painted the cans with Rustoleum high heat primer and matte black. I got the dealer to install them as part of the deal. I was a little worried about them going on crooked but they did a good job. I really like the look of yours, Nighthawk. I have been watching the progress on your thread. Love those wheels and the lowered look. Did you end up getting that CF hood?

Too bad about the AB's, Nighthawk. The quad tips will just add another level of awesomeness to your car. Let us see some pics of what you end up getting. Thinking of GT500 or something else? I just put some MGP caliper covers over the stock GT/CS calipers until I get a wheel/brake upgrade. Have to wait until the spring though. I think these do an OK job of covering the ugly stock calipers and keep the excess brake dust off the wheels. The rear have the "5.0" logo.

I already have 2012 gt500 take offs that I got for $130 last year. I still didn't hear how they sound like compared to mine. Btw, I kept the black lug nuts when I out back the CS wheels and they look better.
You don't have any issues with noise with those caliper covers?

I still have to get a video up of the GT500 quad tips. They sound different than the other GT500 AB's.

Hmm Ohboy...I just installed them about 3 hours ago haha. I checked the clearance, moved the wheel, then drove around the block and no noise. I'm good on clearance... I guess I'll have to take it for a spin on the highway. Did you already run into this or read about noise with these?

I will listen to them soon if StangBoy5.0 ever gets a day off from work. He will be the one installing my Steeda rear brace.

Thanks. The install wasn't bad. Not too much adjusting of the clips that hold the covers in place. Drove around all day and no rubbing/sound coming from them. I made sure that I could fit a credit card width of plastic in between the clips and the rotors. Really wish I could do the brake upgrade, but not keen on having to buy new wheels, then I will most certainly want wider tires if I go that route. Doesn't make sense with a car that only has a little over 1000 miles on it.
Some new splash guards would be nice though...
