2014 Mustang GT/CS After 1 Week
It's been about a week since I picked up my 2014 GT/CS and I love this car! So far so good with the stock shifter. I have not experienced any of the "notchiness" or missed gears that other people have experienced. (knock on wood) If it turns out to be an issue, I have a Barton 2-post bracket waiting in a box.
I love the power of this car. It pulls in every gear. If anything, I will add a CAI/tune next spring because I've read a lot of good things about the JLT model.
As for gas mileage, I have about 400 miles on the odometer and I am at 19 average according to the car's computer. I spend a lot of time in traffic, but also some highway miles. I am guessing that this number may improve a bit once I get past 1k, but I am satisfied. I expected this and it's a reasonable trade-off for the power.
So far, I have added the Roush side and rear splitters to finish off the look of the car. In addition, I added the quad GT500 axle backs. I LOVE the sound of this exhaust!
Anyway, here's a couple of pics.

Thanks everyone. Love this car! I like the CS wheels, though I wish they were completely black. I also wish I could put wider tires on them. I'm going to get as many miles out of these first, then switch out the wheels. Love the look of that black Roush, 14rs3roush! Also a beautiful car! Bah, you all have nice cars because they are Mustangs :]

Yeah, also have the rear splitters. That back shot was taken about a week ago. I need to take the car out on a nice day and get some better photos. As for shifting, I have done several WOT pulls on the way home from work merging onto the highway and have not experienced any issues 2nd, 3rd, or 4th. Don't want to jinx it though. Still at around 700 miles.

A jack/jack stands are a must. Even with them it's hard to get the drill underneath that part of the car. I ended up going out and getting a 1" stubby drill bit. Overall it's an easy install and I give a ton of credit to Roush and the perfect fitment. I've had so many aftermarket stuff not fit like it's supposed to (especially on foreign cars).

Totally agree with you, Xedes. I used Rhino Ramps that I already had sitting around. I don't have any jack stands, but that definitely would have been the better way to go to install these.
There is 1 set of holes that had to be drilled which were impossible to get a normal drill under. I went out to Home Depot and bought a Black & Decker mini cordless drill for around $25. That did the job. I read about a lot of people questioning the need to drill the extra holes under the car. I questioned this myself until I realized that the adhesive tape and stock holes aren't enough to make the whole unit flush with the underside of the car... especially the ends of the splitter. Plus, you really don't want water getting in between the splitter and the factory panel molding. Anyway, they are great. It's odd that they didn't already come with the GT/CS model because they match the front splitter perfectly. It's like they were meant to be there all along. The only complaint I have is the price. I just bought them from American Muscle, but you may be able to find a better deal on Ebay or something.
Next, I'm going to tint front/real side reflectors, 3rd break light, and the little white lights inside the tail lights. I just got the adhesive in the mail today :]
