Will 225/35ZR19 88W fit 2014 GT

I have stock 255/40ZR19 but I’m a tight financial situation and need tires to get me thru for a bit. I found a great deal on this 225/35ZR19 88w tires at $200 for all 4 but not sure how they will fit or look or if it’s just a bad idea...help!!!

those will be quite narrow and short but I think they will go on the wheels and roll OK . . . but I would definitely look for something bigger

I think you probably have 9" wide wheels, you can take one off and look at the back to find the stamp with the size

you can look up your current tires on tire rack and note the overall diameter; look up the new tires and compare the diameter to your old tires and check the "rim width" to make sure your wheels are in range

If your stock tires were 255/40/19 you probably have the 9" wide wheels that came on the track pack/Brembo cars. All of the 225/35/19's I have seen call for a 7.5" to 9" wide wheel, so the tires should fit the wheel and the car. The tires will probably look a bit stretched on the 9" wheels and will be about 1.5" shorter, so more gap between the tires and fenders. The engine rpm's at a given speed will also be higher due to the smaller diameter. Good luck in finding something within your budget until things improve.
