S197 Tire Setup?

I got a stock 2014 Ford Mustang GT Track Pack with 19x9 wheels all around and wanted to know if 275/45/19 squared will work on stock ride height and stock suspension because I heard someone do 275/45/19 in the front and 295/45/19 in the rear. If I can’t do 275/45/19 squared then I’ll probably go 265/45/19 squared. I like big tires, any ideas?

According to the tire rack website, they recommend 255/40/19" tire sizes that are within factory 19x9" measured rim width range for your vehicle as a squared setup... Tire Rack website link is provided below, if interested.... In the meantime, welcome aboard!

Thank you! That’s what I was thinking was 275/45/19 was out the range but I guess I’ll try it out first and if anything happens I’ll just get 265/45/19.

yeah, 275 is a bit wide for a 9" wheel

you can check the recommended wheel rim width by looking up the tires on Tire Rack then check the "specs" tab for the recommended wheel rim width range

ideally you want your wheels to be on the wider end of the range for the tire, or at least the "measuring width"

Here's more info from tire racks website which has measured rim width specs at 9 inches for 265/45/19 inch tires... Personally, I wouldn't go any wider, otherwise, you're going to notice tire bulge on 9-inch wheels paired with 275/45/19-inch tires... Here's the additional web link provided below from the tire rack website...
