Paint or Powder Coat

My 2015 Mustang has the 19" X 9" Gloss Black Premium Painted Aluminum Wheels.
A buddy mentioned it would look even better if the rims had a red line on the outer rim; and now I'm starting to think it would look good if there was a blood red line on the outer rim of the wheels.
Should I have it done in paint (should be cheaper than the $150 to $250 guestamates I've seen) or have the wheels powder coated? (I have requested some local bids just so I know what kind of a hit the wallet may take.)
I MAY replace/upgrade the wheels at some point in the distant future, but still figuring that out.

I was thinking of powder coating them, but in doing some research I ran across some info that says powder coating does not handle chemicals well, i.e. some car wash cleaners and tire store mounting solvents. I only know the very basics about powder coating, and this is news to me (more research still to do).

What is your guys take on the care and cleaning of powder coated rims?

Just use acid free wheel cleaner like the Griot's garage wheel cleaner.
