UCA differential factory bushing fail???

I have a 2014 GT that I had Steeda suspension installed by a shop that I use all the time, very reliable! The following was installed: Struts, shocks, sway bars, pan hard bar, UCA & bracket, LCA & brackets. Noticed a clunking noise when I would start out in 1st gear or if I would hit some bumps. Took it back in and they checked tightness on all the installed equipment and didn't find anything loose and we decided that I would drive it 300 or so miles and bring it back in to check out. I had someone listen to the clunk and it sounded like it was coming from the rear seat. Took it back in and when they moved the UCA, a clunking came from the rubber bushing on the differential. Has anyone experienced this noise?

UCA differential factory bushing fail???

I recently had my car lowered (Ford P-springs 1" in back, adj. panhard bar, and Ford Adjustable shocks), about 1k miles later I get s clunk but only when going over a bump slow and specifically when it's a step down like coming out of a driveway. It's now at the shop for z second time. The first time they said they tightened everything again and reset the rear axel, and it seemed to go away but, couple hundred miles and it is back. I do not hear anything at normal driving speeds, only when under 10 miles an hour. I never had this problem before the car was lowered. I was going to ask them if I needed an adj. UCA but from your description it might not help either.

Mustangdude,

If you send me your contact info ... I can have one of the sales professionals provide you with replacement bushings.

We sell replacement urethane bushings for those factory diff bushings. It would help with this issue.

Best Regards,

TJ
