STL Tire Help!!!
Hello fellow Mustang enthusiasts,
I recently purchased a new 2014 Mustang and was thinking about upgrading wheels and tires. My first thought was that I live in Missouri...and if you don't know we get the weirdest weather. We get our fair share of bad wintery weather and extremely hot weather, but you just never know how it's going to be. To make a long story short...this car is my daily driver and I am a college student who drives back and forth from STL to Columbia often for work purposes. I need some suggestions on a good tire setup for my new baby.
Thanks and have a good one, Michael

Continental DWS is a good tire for that. Also the Kumho 4X. Or you could save up this summer and get a set of winter tires for the wheels your stock wheels too. Blizzaks are the preferred winter tire for our cars it seems.

Three votes for the Conti's they are hard to beat when it comes to traction in the wet. However they disintegrate under hard driving, so keep that in mind.
The Kumho is also a good tire and cheaper, but you may not be able to find it in your size...they don't have a good selection on wider tires. 255 max for 19" and 275 max for 18"
If you cant afford the Conti's and cant find your size in the Kumho, maybe look at the BFG G-force Comp2. I use these as street tires on my Boss and I live in Seattle. So I can tell you it's good in dry and wet. It's affordable and comes in a good selection on sizes. But its not a winter tire...
