SR springs - anyone using on GT w/track pack? Also, on sale $99/set 11/12/13
I just ordered a set at $99 with the website discount also. My question is, How imperative is it to get an adjustable pan hard bar, and front strut mounts, will this amount of drop throw the suspension that far out of wack? If so should I wait to install them until I get the rest of the stuff or can I install them and get the pan hard bar and other pieces when I have the cash?

You can get by without mounts if you don't romp on her and without p/h up to about 1.5" from what I've read, but with these springs being 1.5", if you drive anything like me, I think you're better off waiting and doing them together. I've been collecting shocks, struts, mounts and panhard stuff for six months now, so I know the wait can be painful. If you aren't already aware, Hypermotive had a 15% sale off BMR parts that I think is still going on (THANKSBMR15 is the code IIRC). At about $10 less than AM before the sale, you get a decent discount on p/h, relo bracket and/or brace.
So no one can explain why it is that we should buy new upper strut mounts when lowering a car, what's the difference between GT mounts and GT500 mounts? I can see buying caster camber plates if your going to get serious about tracking the car. But if your just going to be street driving and if the cars alignment is within the slotted window, your good. I plan on getting an adjustable pan hard bar in a few days as I've heard that with the SR springs the rear end will be off to one side about a 1/2"

I have this insane fear of noise that helped push me to c/c plates. I was also worried about tire wear. Most folks don't have neither of these issues with stock mounts but the with my luck, I'd be one of the unlucky few.

The stock mounts are horrible. They will fall apart when you disassemble the front springs and struts causing the bearings to fall out of the groove. I originally packed the bearings back in with grease and rode on them for a couple of months with a lot of clank. The gt500 mounts made all of those noises disappear. I highly suggest replacing them. The GT500 mounts i went with were a good deal.
