SR Springs/Steeda Pro-Action/GT500 Mounts

Hey everyone wanted to get some opinions/advice on my setup before I give a review of everything. The Setup: Steeda Pro-Action Shocks & Struts, SR Springs, GT500 mounts, BMR panhard & support brace, BMR lca relo brackets. The handling and stance are awesome but here's the problem, it rides like $hit! I feel every bump or imperfection in the road. I am using shocks & struts for a 05-10 stang but it was my understanding that it's OK as long as I use the GT500 mounts. So any ideas on why the ride is so crappy? Also are the top of the struts suppose to stick out this much (see below). I will also probably cut the bump stops b/c they are close to the frame.

I still need to cut my bump stops also. It hits. The struts sticking out that far are the same as my setup with GT500 mounts.
Mine may be sticking out farther but I am using Koni's

If you're low enough that you bottom out on the bump stops a lot, cutting them will definitely improve your ride.

I don't if you experienced this but I have that Konis too and they drove like garbage for the first 2 days. Then they seemed to settle in and become very good. I'm hoping something similar happens for the op. My bump stops were cut during installation.

You should have used steeda sports. I have pro action struts, sports and hd upper strut mount and they ride great. A tad harsher over bumps than stock but not to bad. I also know that when I added lca 's the ride got stiffer over bumps as well. K springs and Sr springs have a really high spring rate.

Steeda is not recommending any of there springs for V6 owners because it is not dropping them correctly. Front sits higher than the back. This is straight from Steeda. They are developing V6 specific springs but since the SR springs have been getting such good reviews I decided to try them. My plan was to go all Steeda and BMR but like I said decided to try SR. I will give it a few weeks before I say this is a bad setup. It's getting better the more I drive it or maybe I'm jus getting use to it lol

You went with springs that don't pair well with those struts and shocks.

I finally cut my bump stops in the rear this morning.
Huge improvement dude! I had about a 1/2 in clearance before cutting them, they were hitting on every bump. I only cut the first *** off, I may trim a little more.
Have you done this yet?
How is your ride? Stiff on the bumps? Does it feel like it may be hitting those stops?
I'm wondering if I should trim a 1/2 in off of the fronts also?

Yep I cut mines & it did make a difference! I cut them almost in half. I don't know if cutting the fronts will help any. Not as close to impact as the rears. We have different struts tho. My Steedas came with bump stops. The ride is still a little rough over bumps and Uneven roads. The wife hates the ride.

My wife was complaining also, that's why I cut them today. I reused my stops for the front struts(Koni STR.t), not sure if they are hitting.
What size rims and tires are you running?

Yea I was originally trying to get a staggered set up but late model restoration had the RTRs for $700 so I jumped on that.
