Relocation brackets

Relocation brackets

I am in need of some advice as I put together my shopping list. I currently have a set of eibach pro kit springs that I will be pairing with eibach shocks/struts. The advertised drop is .800 in the front and 1.2 inches in the rear. For discussions sake lets call it 1" in the front and 1.5" in the rear. My question is will I need relocation brackets for this modest of a drop. I haven't gotten a concrete answer thus far from my interwebs and forum searches.

I have those springs with Koni Str.T shocks, and I installed some LCA relocation brackets. I didn't have wheel hop problems before, and I don't now, but I think the car feels completely different (in a good way). I also installed adjustable LCAs at the same time to avoid changing the pinion angle (which will change if you install the brackets and use OEM (or non-adjustable) control arms.

I saw that you intend to get an adjustable panhard bar. If you're truly interested in handling (even at the drag strip), consider a Fays2 watts link instead. It's a MUCH better way to spend your money.

The stock LCA's sit about parallel with the ground stock so with the drop they will raise towards the axle, so I would so it makes sense to do it all at the same time. Also, I believe the only reason for getting adjustable LCA's is to recenter the axle ie. correct the rear toe.

Yes, we've found that even with a moderate drop the rear relocation brackets are necessary. And the Whiteline brackets will work with the stock arms.

I sent you a PM a couple days ago. The relocation brackets will help correct the pinion angle of your LCA's even with a moderate drop. I also wanted to recommend Koni STR.T over the Eibach dampers. If you have any questions just shoot me over a pm.
