reducing rear squat - shocks/struts

I want to reduce the rear end squat (under acceleration) of my 2012 GT. I'm not particularly interested in lowering the car, which seems to be what most posts involve.

Will some new shocks/struts help, or is this problem more of a spring thing?

Which shocks/struts?

Thanks,
TT

Springs and dampers will definitely help reduce the acceleration squat.

Shoot me a PM if you'd like to discuss a package for your purposes. I'd be glad to recommend springs and dampers best suited for your needs.

Check out the FRPP LCA relocation kit and upgraded LCA's, I have been told that this not only decreases squat during launches but also helps during driving.

J&M relocation brackets and control arms did the job nicely for me.

Do you guys have any opinions on what a simple replacement of my oem rear LCA's to the Ford GT500 LCA would do for rear squat ?

Are there any spring sets that do not lower the car that will reduce squat ?

From what I have been told changing to a better LCA can help a little since the stock stamped steel ones can flex, if you check out capaldiracing.com they have the FRPP upgraded tubular ones for 163 and the LCA relo brackets for 138 so the whole thing before shipping comes to 301 or something.
