List for new suspension.

I want to put together a good suspension for my '11 with Brembo that doesn't shake my teeth out driving down a cobblestone road, but can handle the twisties with confidence. Please tell me what you think.

1. Steeda Mustang Competition Springs
(I'm thinking these might be a bit too stiff)

2. Steeda Pro-Action Shocks & Struts
( I heard these were the best non-adjustables on the market)

3. Steeda Ultimate Mustang Swaybar Kit

4. Steeda Heavy Duty Upper Strut Mounts

5. Steeda Upper Control Arm - Lowered Vehicle

Didn't add the panhand because I want to put in a Watts at a later date.

Thanks

Look into LCAs and UCAs for the rear to help eliminate wheel hop.
As for the panhard bar, you need to get one if you're lowering the vehicle or it will push your axel towards the drivers side.

Thanks for responding. I have the LCA's installed. I have UCA's on the list. I thought about that and I hate to buy it when In a few moths after lowering the car I'm getting Watts Link which would render my adjustable panhand bar useless, because it has to be removed. If it throws it off more that 1/2 in. I'll just have to suck it up.

Fair enough, it's not unmanageable but It will break loose easier. If I was in your situation I would do the same!

It sounds like it will be a fun setup! Some new tires will compliment that set up well!

That is a pretty impressive set-up ... the sport springs would be a great choice as well.

Shoot me an email at tim@steeda.com if I can help provide any additional questions or support ... also, let me know your goals and what you are looking to do with the car and see if there is anything else that can be recommended.

I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Best Regards,

TJ

tj,
interested in your opinion on Steeda v. Roush suspension kits. I have seen many reviews of the Roush suspension used for their stage 2 and 3 cars, and the results "appear" very impressive. I saw there are 3 stage kits for Steeda. Which one is most comparable, and is it adjustable?

Steeda offers adjustable kits. Roush does not. Both are very good. I have a ton of steeda stuff and bmr stuff. I am pulling out some of the bmr (Uca, lca) and replacing with roush.

I have the following.
Steeda
Steeda sport springs
Tokico d-specs
Adj panhard and brace
Front and rear sway bars
HD strut mounts
Lightweight radiator support

Bmr
uCA and bracket
Billet lca
Relo brackets
Tubular a-arms
A-arm brace

I will swapping in the roush anti-wheel hop kit & roush billet lca. The bmr pieces with the poly bushings have more nvh than I like.

Thank TJ. I am just beginning my mod list and wheels, tires, and brakes dedicated for the track top the list. Next will be suspension so I am trying to learn what I need and what will give me the best experience.
