J&M Adj. Panhard Bar- Steel or Aluminum?
My aluminum J&M adjustable panhard bar is likely a little lighter than the steel version, and I'm very happy with it. However, adjusting my bar is not easy because the adjustment is on both ends. To adjust it, you have to install it with both locknuts loose, twist to adjust and lock down the driver's side, then lower the passenger's side to lock it down, then reinstall. I think the steel version has the locking mechanism in the center, making it easy to adjust and tighten with the bar in place.
Thanks. Do you ever have to readjust it once it's set?
Edit: I just took a better look at the pictures. You're right, the steel one has the adjustment feature away from the mounting points! Me likey!

Okay, I received the bar today.
Does it come greased, or do I have to grease it? It doesn't say anything about that in the directions.
Edit: It's not greased. I also took Gabe's suggestion and put 90* fittings on it, so it will be easier to do after it's installed.
