GT 500 Strut mounts faulty ??

Hey gents need a little advice. Just as my signature line reads I have a full Ford Racing Suspension Pack in my car. It has roughly 8,000 miles on it. I have had zero issues with it until now. At very low speed I hear some small clunking noises when turning the wheel going very slowly (like pulling into a parking space or pulling away from a parking space). I have been all through the suspension looking for anything loose and I believe I have determined the strut mounts may be the culprit. Has anyone else had issues with these making a similar noise? The kit I purchased had the fully assembled front struts, springs and mounts. I checked the top strut but and each are tight. Could they be toast after 8,000 miles ???

My car has about 8,500 miles on it in total and is about a year old. The suspension kit was installed almost from day one with the car. Just an FYI for anyone.

Sway bar links are tight, strut tower nuts, Strut to knuckle bolts, tie rods feel good, control arms feel good, etc. I know the only way to determine if the mounts are shot is to pull one of the assembly's out and look but before I did that I wanted to bounce this off you folks first.

I've had GT500 strut mounts for about 16k miles now with no problems. Are you sure it's not the front control arms? There is a T S B for them making a popping sound. Someone who has had them fixed ,can explain to you better than I can.
