Front tire wear
I currently have 05 -10 struts with GT500 mounts on my 2014 GT. I'm running Steeda Ultralites as well. My front tires have worn significantly on the inside, with only about 12k mi on them. Alignment was done after I had the new tires mounted, and camber setting was running about -1.2. Could the "toe" be out again? How often do you guys get alignment? Also, if I got some caster camber plates, would the 05-10 plates work on my 2014 with GT500 mts? Thanks, Brian

The GT500 motor mounts are not adjustable unlike ours - http://www.steeda.com/steeda-mustang...unts-555-8135/
Negative camber will wear them ... the more negative the worse the wear but some tires will wear faster.
Best Regards,
TJ

Will -1.2 camber setting wear the inside of the tires in 12k mi ? I don't think that's normal, or is it? I will be mounting new front tires and getting alignment soon. Steeda ultralites lowered the front 1 1/4 " do I need caster/camber plates?

No, at -1.2 deg you should not see any major wear on the insides. I think you're onto something with toe out. I'd check that asap.
As to the need for CC plates? Hmm, I'd say to to get toe fixed with your current camber settings, and if that doesn't work CC plates may help. I just got Steeda HD upper strut mounts, a few months ago, but waiting till spring before I put them on along with Steeda sport springs and PH bar. I plan to run -2.5 deg of camber for track days, and -1.5 or so for DD.

Well, I just had an alignment done today, and the "toe out" was the problem. Just too many bumps & potholes I guess. Camber is still about -1.2.

Good to hear that was the issue, and that you were able to get it resolved easily. I would guess reversing mickey thompsons is a no go, but now that you got your toe fixed it shouldn't matter as much
