Ford Racing Adjustable Handling Pack M-FR3-MGTAA

Those of you looking at doing this, do yourself a favor and pick up a big bottle of Energy Suspension Formula 5 lube and Blue Loctite. I'm going to be swapping my rear axle here soon, so the entire rear suspension is getting overhauled and rechecked. I'm still getting an occasional clunk, but I suspect it's coming from the LCAs or the axle itself. For $10 though, having the ES lube on hand makes a lot more sense.

Agreed, I just finished installing the steeda LCA and PHB. Seeing that I have 3 of those little tubes of energy suspension silicone grease I was sparingly spreading each one per item to install. Telling myself ****...... , have a funny feeling I will be down there soon again redoing it just to double up on the lube but no squeeks as of now.

Dave, I noticed you have not logged in a while hope you and your car is doing well. I finally finished my piece meal FRPP/Steeda suspension kit thanks to your thread I did order the H&R camber bolts but decided not to use them. Turned in the GT 500 mounts and after initial observation taking measurements, seems to have helped. Ill let everything settle in for a week, then take it in for toe alignment and get -camber specs. Thanks again for all the info

TK, just want to get back with you. To verify this is what I installed FRPP K springs/FRPP non adjustable shock, struts/GT 500 mounts arrow IN. My inital measurements after installation were this and I wanted to get a minimum of 300 miles on her before alignment. Did the math and my computation was -1.72 camber, wasnt too happy about it. This is in the garage so environment and me failing Trig. I was hoping there was a miscalculation somewhere LOL

I was able to put 270 miles and brought her in for toe adjustment. To my surprise my math sucks LOL and it was actually at -1.4 camber, caster was fine and toe was a little negative and it was adjusted. So Im happy with it. Had bought H&R camber bolts but did not install them. Everything is buttoned up with new oem bolts and torqued to spec and I am a whole lot more comfortable with that in mind. I look at it as the car is setup a lil aggressive for a lil aggressive driving. GL with your install bro!

Thanks a ton man...that helps out! I am gonna have to order new bolts/nuts for my install but other than that I have everything I think. Gonna do Arrows in as well, we will see how it all works out for me too!

No sweat TK. I just want to add that the (new bolts were supplied). If they werent, I wouldn't of hesitated using the old ones but just run a line of blue loctite up the threads and let it tack up for a minute, new or old its always a good idea. Its what I did for the Steeda LCA and adj. PHB and probably 99% of the time in general . Either/ Or...Looking forward to see some pics bro!

here's a couple, thanks for the interest
Hey Sonny all is very well, thanks for the thought. Been on vacation since the tenth. First night back at work, where I do most of my geeking.
Glad to have been an inspiration and that all went good for you.
I now have 24K+ on the car and absolutely love this suspension and these wheels/tires. Have dialed from 3 to 2.5 turns from full hard and it's firm but not jarring. Had my Mom in the car for probably 1500 miles and she never complained once.
-1.4 camber...I trashed my Pirellis @ that camber so would recommend keeping a close eye on your inside wear.
Now looking at American Muscle's Labor Day sale. Can save ~ $75 on their BAMA w/Steeda CAI. Been running the ProCal and love it but want to do my exhaust, maybe American Racing headers, and can't tweek the ProCal.

Your car is looking good man, your tire choice seems to have filled the wheel well more while adding comfort. Thanks for the heads up on the -camber and will keep an open eye on it. I just broke 3,000 miles so planning to rotate and drop oil for the first time this weekend. Good choice on the Steeda CAI, Ive been happy with all my purchases from them. Next up for me is a Boss manifold, but Id like to get a dyno pull beforehand to see what Im putting down. Do yourself a favor and at least drop a dime and call Steeda direct to see pricing and options. Thats what I did with C&L and havent looked back

Thanks, Sonny. I also just spent 14 hrs on the finish the last couple days. Like a jewel, now.
AM is still out of stock on the tune/CAI but sounds like they may be able to lock me in on the price.
Boss mani looks excellent but I'd be hesitant about the low end torque loss w/o long tubes and exhaust. I picked up an advertised ~ 60# @ 1500 rpm with the ProCal and really enjoy that. I'd not want to go back to stock value minus a little.
In fact, I may have to put off any more mods for a while...want to install American Racing Header system (1-3/4, I think), which is a big reason for needing a different tune, but over the weekend my Son got engaged and they're planning on next summer, although not set a date yet. Dinner for wedding party, cool gift then spring for a honeymoon...I gotta start saving.
