Drag Setup

I am shopping for wheels and tires for the drag strip. I have a 2012 Mustang GT lowered on Sportlines. Any suggestions?

Will this work:

Race Star Dark Star Drag Wheel - Direct Drill - 15x8 (05-14 GT, V6)
Race Star Direct Drill Closed End Lug Nut Kit - 10 Lugs (94-14)
Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial - 325/50-15

325 is too wide for a 8" wheel.

I run 275/60-15's on my 8" DragStars.

What rear gear in the car?

3.31. yea I figured that. Does it pay to go ahead and relocate swaybar and run 10's

I wouldn't mess with the wider wheels and swaybar relocation.

And with the 3.31's, probably go with 275/50-15's on the 8" wheels, 26" height helps with that gear.

lol from what i have read its ok go go alil smaller but not bigger. my tires now are 27 inches tall so i imagine a 26 won't hurt nothing but i could be corrected.

You know the widest tire is not always the best tire, for some reason everyone wants steam rollers.
Must be a looks thing.

Meanwhile there are 8,9,10 second cars running 275's.
heavy wide tire = more rolling resistance & more weight.

Well I only paid 200 for a set the fronts and backs lol so. As for the tires a 275/50/15 would be fine I think. it's not all that wide 26"h X 10"w I think
