The biggest difference to aftermarket LCA's are the bushings/ ends which eliminates the weak and flexible rubber used in the GT500/ FRPP/ boss LCA's. GT500 arms may be a bit beefier but they pretty much use the same material in the bushings which is just another thing that creates more wheel hop.

TJ is right in that there is no one magic cure to eliminate wheelhop. What works for one car may not the other. I suggest doing one part at a time however, can be annoying when they don't work. LCA/ UCA is a great way to eliminate wheelhop. When lowering the vehicle the same thing applies to a PHB, not all cars are the same. We lowered our Boss 1.7 in the rear and it still did not require a PHB but again this wont apply to everyone.

A decent non-adj. LCA should work just fine. Billet LCA's look great but you'll get the same performance for half the cost on tubular or boxed LCA's. I recommend BMR or whiteline as well as UCA's I would go with either BMR or Whiteline.
If you have any questions give us a shout.

I have read that billet lcas have less nvh than tubular lcas. Is this correct?

NVH come more from the bushings. However, I just picked up METCO and I know theirs are quiet. Stay away from spherical ends as those are the loudest obviously. A good amount of grease, (regreasing every 90 days) will keep just about any Poly bushing UCA and LCA NVH down.

Are you referring to the FRPP/ GT500 LCA's?

I wanted them for the harder durometer rubber bushings instead of poly.I didnt want any nvh and the price was right.I went with the Roush uca for the same reason. The last time i had poly bushings in a muscle car were the control arms in my 01 Camaro SS which after 6 months of hard launching cracked the bushings.I believe they were Hotchkiss CA,s.Anyway i,m happy with what i have now,Roush uca (anti wheel hop kit) FRPP lca,55Dsprings.

I lost all hop and gained no NVH with my Roush upper control arm.
Couldn't have been more effective. Good luck.
