Hi folks, I'm getting a 2010 GT premium, 18" wheels. I've been lining up stuff for it. I haven't got the car yet, still waiting on my comp check to come... I have a fellow club member with a BMR k member brace for sale. My car didn't have the strut tower brace(which he also has a BMR for me), my question is will it have the factory k member brace? It is an automatic, and from what I've found they weren't available with some of the extra goodies because of that. I did find the factory one on CJ Pony parts and it states they were only on the 'verts and GT500 (mines a coupe). If any of you folks could take at look at your similarily equipped cars, I'd greatly appreciate it. Here's a link to the factory one.

I thought they started putting that piece on every Mustang sense late 07. My 08 GT Coupe had one. I replaced it when I did the CHE Brace w/ Trq limiters.

 

From what I can gather from the '10 sales brochure online, the strut brace was only on the track pack cars (strut brace, 19" wheels) not available with auto trans. And the lower is only factory on 'verts and Gt500... I saw the sticky oabout the '11, just dunno if it applied to previous years. I even cruised Carmax's website and from what I saw all coupes with 18" wheels didn't have a strut brace. I can see Ford putting the lower on '11 and up with the bigger/better engines for that year.
