So I had a Black V6 Premium for a year and a dealer friend gave me quite a deal on a GT. They bought out my car and gave me some money. I saw this in the lot and picked it up on Monday.










SteveDotMill has inspired me and I'm putting on the 5'' Le Mans stripes hopefully next week.

About the exhaust....... I live in a condo complex and leave for work early in the morning, so I'm having a hard time picking the right exhaust. I want something with *****, but would be too loud to **** everyone off when I leave for work. It's between the GT500 quad or Borla Touring (or even Stingers).

 

welcome to DIB Club...SteveDotMill is inspiring many... i put my stripes before i started reading TMS... if not i would have gone for that. i went for gt500 quad, it sounds good but not loud/entertaining as borla or outlaws

I wanted one for over a decade, but just a mustang in general. I got the v6, but 4 months later I got a new job and almost tripled my salary. I got a great deal and decided to buy my dream car!

If my salary tripled I would also be getting the v8!!! Was it new or used? Around here there are not that many new 2013's on the lots....

 

It's a new '13, so I got a good price on it.

I went from $13 hourly wage to a job that uses my degree.

Glad you got your dream car. Congrats on the new work situation as well. If I trippled my income I would keep the GT and also get a new A/M Vantage. What color stipes are you going with?

Love the color, I get a lot of compliments on my DIB vert, you will definitely enjoy the horsepower!!

 

I got mine from American Muscle and they are top notch since they are 3M vinyl. I actually had enough left over to be able to put rocker stripes on 4 times over but I ended up having to do the hood twice so I didn't. I still might use the left over to put some 1/4 fender hash marks but I'm not sure yet. The cost was way less than the vinyl shop I went to. I don't mind one bit. I'm flattered actually. Have fun.
