My 2014 DIB GT
Just got my new Mustang x2 weeks ago.
Base GT model, 6spd with tech and track package, already put over 700 miles on it, all with a big smile on my face.
Already doing a few light mods, putted in MMD hood struts, and I have a 3D Carbon GT500 spoiler and retro style shift **** on the way.
The car is enough power for me, for now, so my next plans are axlebacks, either Roush or GT500, new wheels, and planning to do suspension to lower the car, mainly for looks. Can't stand the look of the stock height, especially the rear.

Beautiful GT man! Deep Impact Blue is by far one of my favorite colors available. You're lucky you bought the track package, it's a killer upgrade from the factory for sure.
I see you're looking at new axleback exhaust systems. The Roush sound very good with the stock mid-pipe, even better than the GT500 axle IMO. However, if you plan to upgrade the mid-pipe down the road to a catless, I've found the GT500's end up sounding better than the Roush with that combo. Which is why I always suggest to think about what you want to do to your exhaust system down the road before buying an axleback.
Hope you really enjoy the car buddy!

Congrats on the new ride. You will love it every time you start it up and start to drive. It's the people who stop, wave, thumbs up, compliment, smile, paparazzi you while you are driving around. I have never had a car that was such an eye catcher.

Thanks for the compliments. My only plans for the exhaust is axleback for now. I watched different exhaust videos and it came down to Roush or GT500 for me, but I'm leaning towards the GT500 because it is quieter and only loud when I want it to be compared to the Roush.
Yes, I do drive in New York City, but I live in Brooklyn, and I do know the usual bad streets to avoid. My last car was lowered and I drove it all over the city, so the stock suspension of the Mustang is kinda an upgrade in ride comfort, lol. I'm just looking for a 1-1.5" drop for the Mustang, nothing too extreme, think I maybe going for the Eibach Pro Kit.
I have gotten random compliments from people, it's cool. Plus there are not as much Mustangs here compared to Camaros and Challengers, and Chargers! Most of the newer Mustangs I've seen are the V6s.

Just installed my 3D Carbon spoiler, definitely changes the look of the car. I was surprise by how easy I was able to get the regular spoiler off. Next I'm deciding either axle backs or suspension, really want to get rid of the 4x4 look.

I would like the quad tips, but I just have a regular GT bumper without the valence. Besides the tips, any real difference between the GT500 axle backs?

I am not aware of any kind of performance difference. I believe the mufflers are the same just different outlets, but not sure. Not sure about sound difference as I haven't heard both side by side. There might be something on youtube though.

Sweet car! I like the plans. Have you thought about a roush chin spoiler and/or the boss/California special rear diffuser? What wheels are you thinking?

I have a regular GT bumper, not sure if I feel comfortable cutting it up, I did like the Boss rear diffuser with the square exhaust tips, for now, I think I'm going with the GT500 axle backs though. Modding this car slowly, don't have all the money to spend at once. Hopefully axle backs and suspension done by end of July. Haven't decided on wheels yet.
