Has anyone blacked-out the roof on their DIB?
I have several cans of black and glossifier plasti-dip in the garage and was wondering how a blacked-out roof would look on Deep Impact Blue. Has anyone done it? I know I could go ahead and do it on mine and peel it off if I don't like it, but is rather see pics first (if they exist) before I waste a bunch of plasti-dip.

This is a decal, but if you do a decent job with the pd, shouldn't look any different.

Agreed. I went to a car show a while back and there was a guy that plasti dipped a ton of his stuff on his mustang and it looked terrible. From a distance it was fine but once you got up close it was terrible looking.

For me the plasti-dip would be more for experimental purposes. If I liked it enough I'd probably do the roof with vinyl or something.
While I agree that a lot of plasti-dip jobs look bad, when done right (and in my opinion, when covered with a few coats of glossifier) it can look pretty good.
