Agree 100%, my Camaro had a white/green theme and i did great at shows. The car actually won its class at the GM Nationals in 2012 and at the Camaro 5 fest in Indy got an award from Steve Johnson who is assistant manager for GM Performance.

302sc -- you mentioned that you were going to paint the engine cover, the dash, and center console .. great ideas, but where did you find the paint? I too would like to paint a few things, but haven't found any paint to match the car yet.

 

My local body shop mixes there own paint.. they matched my sgm camaro perfectly so there doing the mustang for me.

 

I have an 11 Synergy Green Camaro SS and a GHIG Mustang GT. My dad had a green 69 Mustang when I was a kid. My first car I bought that wasn't a hand me down was a 78 Camaro. Since then I've had a 90 LX 5.0 sedan and a 97 GT. Ive always liked both so I have both. The Camaro is a loaded 2SS RS and the GT is a base with the only options being Recaro seats and the track package. Both are fun the drive cars, but the Camaro is more comfortable because it's fully loaded.

I too went from a Camaro to a GHIG Mustang. I can't wait to get mine.

 

Just bought Saleen wheels 19 x 8.5 front and 10 in back, there the 5 spoke in black and will pinstripe in green. Also got Eleanor side scoops and roush side rockers in ghig. Should be installed in 2 wks....I'll post pics

Welcome man! Great thread. That's an awesome looking camaro you had. I like that you're kind of bringing over some of their style and meshing it. Should look really stinkin cool. I can't wait to see everything on the car!
