I like your pictures, but I can't be the first one to notice they're all doctored. Look as much as I love this color in person, having seen one, your pictures have MAJOR color filters applied to them. It really looks nothing like your pictures at all. I know you know that you've applied processing, it's like 200% obvious looking at the photos, those aren't natural effects. Why don't you just POST THE PICTURES AS THEY CAME OUT OF THE CAMERA, so that we get a real idea of what it looks like?

 

 

You can laugh if you'd like, but your pictures are pretty damned bad and inaccurate. You know it and I know it. Altering your pictures to make them look vibrant, also makes them look like they're on some alien fantasy planet. It might look bright and vibrant, but IT AIN'T REALITY. I saw in another one of your posts that that's how your camera took those pictures. BULL SH*T. There isn't a camera sold out there that would sell if it produced photos as inaccurately as the ones you post. Look at the last set of your pictures in this thread. Is the sky ever THAT COLOR in reality? You see the cartoonish looking after-effect on the car? It's just complete and utter BS. I think you do this to the photos because somewhere along the line somebody has taught you that people prefer bright, fake, cartoonish pictures. Or even perhaps that you feel insecure about your color, so you want to alter it to make it look like it does in your mind? I don't really know.

Simply put, that is NOT what Gotta Have it Green looks like in reality, that's it bottom line. That's having me seen it in many different lighting situations, and that's because of your cr*p processing.

 

 

His pictures look really cool. We all know that is not what the color looks like in real life so not sure why people are jumping on him.

The real green is more yellowish green.

Most ppl know who know car's and photography that the pics he took are HDR. He was posting pics in that fashion like so many others with HDR capabilities. I do not understand why someone would get heated about pictures the OP was proud of. I think HDR is cool. And if you really want to see GTHIG you have to see in person and even then the light can play tricks with the color. I have taken pictures of my GTHIG and depending on the light and camera they can all look different. That's a plus and a minus when it comes to this color.

That's funny. Your telling someone to STFU, and you don't think your posts are negative? You always display your opinion about someone else's opinion in a negative way, which makes you just as negative as the other person. Unfortunately, you wouldn't know that, because your so wrapped up in attacking people when you feel persecuted when their opinion doesn't align with yours.

I have to come clean - these pictures are not HDR. They are all a single exposed RAW file, edited in Lightroom. I love my Nikon D800.
