So what are the best looking side scoops to buy? I want to buy the prepainted ones from AM, but they look bad in the pics IMO. Help me out!

Thanks Pete. They do look great. Of all of the scoops I have been looking at, I didn't look at the cs scoops.

Any idea where they sell that style? They look like they may be the 3d carbon ones......

The 3D Carbon ones have lame stick-on gel decals with faux gutter mesh while the Ford OE and decent aftermarket OE style ones have a molded honeycomb pattern black insert.

Some of the aftermarket ones come very close to looking OE but look in the picture above and you will notice that OE scoops have the honeycomb set back deeper and the honeycomb has the compressed pattern like the Mustang's front end grille. Also, the bottom point on the OE ones are supposed to come all the way down into the curve of the "hockey stick".

The OE style ones on American muscle fall short of completely covering the curve in the hockey stick and have an uncompressed evenly six-sided honeycomb pattern.

Not at all.. Look again and you will notice a raised inset sculpture on the side of the scoops...

I feel like I had a set back. I can't find any prepainted OEM scoops. I am thinking of going with the 3D carbon. Are they pretty good quality?

I ended up with a set of 3D Carbon that I bought used that I installed on my 08 model. They were decent quality though I did not like the gel decal faux grille mesh insert.
