DG Mirror covers

Installed these today, great looking compared to stock black ones... great colour match, genuine Ford parts so no fit problems... would recommend!

Purchased from Stage3Motorsports, easy transaction and good service.

I love that color. Must be hard to catch it in its prime.

Looks like concentric flash reflections.

yeah without the flash in the shade it looks black... when it catches the light it really is impressive, the flash on camera brings out the Xryllic metallic base.

thanks... yeah the paint job was superb, I did throw a coat of Griot's Garage paint sealer on it and did use a flash... I suppose my only complaint with the Lava Red paint is it shows everything... I use a California Duster so I can do a quick once over in a couple of minutes but needs to be wiped down almost everytime you drive. I had a local shine shop do a Permashine on the body to help preserve the finish somewhat.

I drive it & have a lot of fun, just back from 3,600 mile road trip to California doing lots of old motorcycle roads with canyons & twisties and it's not a show car... where I live in Canada I am not expecting it to stay pristene but will do my best to maintain keeping it in garage and have car cover for road trips. I have a Fusion as my daily driver so limit driving in the snow / salt during winter.

they are few and far between, they only made 72 MCA coupes and convertibles in Lava Red, 16 'verts of which I have 1 of. Down in California driving the #1 every 3rd car seemed to be a Mustang convertible so while it is a "collectors edition" by Ford it is just one of the masses. Including GT's, Pony package, etc. I think they made around 700 Lava Reds. So across US / Canada that's not a lot. I had mine shipped from Ontario and have only seen one other coupe here.

I got it for many reasons and it has what I want / need... some can appreciate it for what it is and I don't have issue with the rest.

Those look pretty much exactly like what's on mine. I thought they were part of the premium package. Is the MCofA package different, or did the previous owner of mine add them?

not in Canada only Pony package & GT's came with painted ones in Canada, not MCA... can't tell you about US versions... I don't understand why painted weren't included either!
