The fact that this thread is already two pages is a good indication that YB is an interesting color and likely to turn heads - either in envy or disgust. Obviously it's not for everybody, but it's got people paying attention.

It will mark the first time Explorer has ever paced a major auto race. Explorer will be preceded on the track during the weekend by the 2012 Mustang Boss 302, which will pace Saturday's Ford 300 NASCAR Nationwide finale, and the 2011 Ford F-150, powered by the new 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine, which will handle pace car duties for Friday night's Ford 200 Camping World Truck Series finale. Anyone else notice it looks a LOT like the same color as the Boss 302R, and NOT the YB GTs? Wonder if they messed with the pic, or the color is just that random? Makes it really hard to make a decision...

 

I was stuck behind and then beside a YB Fiesta this morning en route to the office. It looked great and the color varied significantly as lighting conditions changed. Under an overpass, it looked exactly like the color of the pace car. In sunlight, it looked like the color of the 302R. I think the pearl in the paint causes this effect. In any case, I think it's a sharp color.
