I root for the drivers, not manufactures, especially when all the cars are basically the same with different paint schemes.

This race will be the one to watch, with the points being so close ,must see for me (DVR)

I drove to the YB 5.0 again (3rd time) to confirm what I remembered it looked like, in person, and because the picture up above is so sweet.

I took pictures of it in the shade and in direct sun, My opinion hasn't changed, it looks golden almost bronzeish in the shade, in the sun it still looks muted, no POP to my eyes.

My pictures are in Google Picasa, if someone wants to see them, instruct me how to display them here from there.

Dang it man! They look so yucky in the regular pics but so so nice in the Boss shot. I'm so confused!

 

Yup, it needs the black stripes/paint to help "set the color off" while preventing it from being overwhelming. IMO, Screaming Yellow would look a whole lot better on a Boss, but the YB Boss actually looks nice. Just glad the Boss LS is not available in this color with red stripes!

 

Yep, I visited the dealer (60 miles away) twice, and decided against YB, then, I see the Picture released by Ford up above, so,, I returned again to see If I was missing something.

It looks just the way it does in the pictures I posted, Sun or Shade, It makes me wonder if they used a different paint formula for the BOSS or played with the picture or the Dealer got a bad paint job, I'm confused as well, and I won't gamble, so, I'm on board with Orange.

They also had two used Mustangs in Yellow (don't know paint name) very canary/bright, when I would look at one of them, then look back at the YB car, it was very revealing that the YB is not Yellow to my standards.

I'm not trying to persuade any one away from Yellow Blaze, I'm reporting what I witnessed first hand and think about the color. Use my information as part of your research tools, if your like me, I have my Pros & Cons list for my decision making process, that I use to decide on for whatever I'm researching.

I think people will get a better sense of YB if they are able to see the pace car on tv this weekend.

 

You are getting the Nationwide series and the Cup series confused. The Nationwide series is the "B" series, and the championship there is locked up.

 

Thanks for posting those pics. Much much different - so now my choices are back to wanting to see the car in person. However Im a 'Gotta have it now...' guy...so I am completely up in the air. Ill look at the colors the day the order bank/pricing opens up and make the best decision possible.

I have the Vista Blue CS now and love that color. Not super excited about the Kona (and that white roof is crazy weird).

 

I'm gonna have the roof painted same color (Orange) as the main color that I order.

In looking at both pics side by side, those look like different shades of yellow...
