I can't believe they are still keeping price and build numbers a secret. At this point in time it seems stupid to me.

 

This interview could have been done months ago. It's hard to know when.

Are orders for the Boss being placed without the cost?

 

He states that the cams are the same as an ordinary 5.0, but the Ford website says...

using a more aggressive grind for

I don't think so. I think you can enter the order but it will not go through the system until it's updated with prices.

 

My order went through...just no pricing as of yet

 

Build numbers are out, at least from what I've heard.

Two years, 4000 cars per year. 3500 (Street and LS) Boss - 500 R code. Those numbers are per year. Cant cite where I heard them from - probably on these forums somewhere...

Things can change last minute, so don't take those words as gospel. Until you see a press release from FoMoCo, it's not official.

 

I don't believe anything until I see it, feel it or get absolute confirmation.

Ford will only begin determining the build order in December.
