I suspected it was because the track M3s are not the same as the street M3s.

 

We may see A/X-plan become available on the 2013 Boss models if they don't move any better.

Unfortunately, the dealers don't help the situation when they choose to slap ADM's on them. I'm sure those turn prospective buyers away when they expect $5-10k on top of sticker for a car.

I think that's actually fairly unlikely. But I've been wrong before.

 

Bullitts were going for sticker+ when they first hit lots. After the first year, you could get A-plan. If sales aren't as high as expected, they might offer it later in the year.

 

I'm just curious what data there is to support slow sales. My dealer traded for a used Boss last week with 400 miles and sold it in 5 minutes. They still have a pretty decent waiting list.

 

I agree. A few listed on Fle-bay does not mean there is a glut of them sitting on lots. There are none on dealer lots within 100 miles of me and I am in central Cali.

 

It still doesn't look like they're going to hit their build quota to me. :corrected:

Boss #1661 just delivered (could be later ones out there, just found this one). My Boss arrived exactly 6 months before #1661 and was on the first load of Bosses after authorization was given to ship. 1661 x 2 = 3322 which is ahead of the planned build of 3250. So, it looks like they're ahead of THEIR build schedule TO me.

Will the 2012 Boss run through the normal production year and the 2013 start with the other Ford models? Or will the 2013 start early similar to the 2012?

Are you just stating that or do you have something that proves it?

 

I'm traveling and don't have the links at my fingertips. Better yet what proof do you have they are not on schedule?

 

I know you can get d plan on the boss...... Should be able to get a/d too
