Wheel Options for the 2012 Boss 302
A Black LS with matte black or pewter or NONE at all accents would have been my preference. And hey, I get to write the check and personalize my car the way I want. May just send her to the paint shop to be CORRECTED.

My brain tried to understand that comment and that's what literally happened. Please be more understanding of my current medical condition.
C'mon... white walls? It's like 5-0 watched the arrogant-lead-character-redeems-himself-by-placating-the-self-righteous-misfits-by-patronizing-them-and-buying-from-their-poor-business-ventures-while-still-remaining-condescencing-enough-to-get-the-hot-chick part in Pixar's "Cars" one too many times.

Cars is one of my favorite movies.
Gold trim on a black car just looks so very classy. A black car with gold trim just has to be seen to be appreciated. It may not be as flashy as the current Black LS, but it would be more accepted by those who want their car to stand out a little less.

So would mine. I would not mind if a little heritage would be integrated on the new Boss.

Are you seriously trying to compare HERITAGE of a legendary Ford Boss 429 to that of Burt Reynolds/Sally Field black-n-gold Firebird Trass Am???
Really?
YOU missed the point completely.....
By the way, where are the flashy multi-color accents on the Boss 429?
There are NONE. The car speaks for itself!

I realize this is an old thread, but for what it's worth, the 2012 LS wheels are Race Red, not Orange - as are the accent areas on both the Black and Ingot Silver 2012 302 LS.
I love 'em. Not only do they look terrific on the 302 LS, but they make a great and great-looking set of street wheels for a Red on White GT500.

Photocopy guru, can you take these stock OEM rims and change the black of the rim to a gun metal grey like the BBS rim? (but keep the aluminum outer ring) Like to see what that looks like

My PS skills are limited to cut and paste. Which wheels are you referring to? The FR BBS wheels are silver (or black) not gunmetal. I've seen them in person several times. The 2013 LS wheels are sterling gray, it's the same color used on a Mustang.
Gotcha. Seriously, with your black stripes I think the black wheels look good. I didn't think the black wheels went well with the white stripes so I changed mine the first day I owned the car. The stock high gloss wheels look dirty after a trip around the block where gunmetal won't look as dirty. Here's a photo of mine which aren't quite gunmetal but are close.
