What upgrades to get?

I want to make one thing clear, I am not a mod or upgrade guy, at least not with the Boss. To me, a stock Boss is the best kind. If I wanted a Super Charged Mustang, I would have gotten a Shelby.

That being said, is there anything that you feel is a necessary upgrade? Any cooling items, etc.

How, exactly, will you use the car? (specifically: will it be raced or "open tracked")? That will determine any legitimate response to your question.

Mind you, this is coming from a guy who spent over $20k in upgrades to his '07 GT500 to make it "track-worthy"; I can't think of any beneficial upgrades beyond the Trackey from FRPP based on your intended use of the car.

Drive it and ENJOY..............

MGW shifter and then you are good to go. You don't really need anything else.

I would say if you are not big in to modding, address the trans like others have said with the MGW, and possilby a high volume clutch line. Then maybe throw a clear bra on to protect the paint and a JLT oil catch can to keep oil out. Also maybe pull the side plates on the hpipe and enjoy!

Would saying, "everything" be too vague?

I am also close to saying getting rid of the stock clutch wouldnt be a bad idea either. I am sick of mine sticking to the floor every other time I shift.

I forgot about the catch can. For sure add that to the list.

Clear bra to keep it looking Bossy and chipless, aftermarket hood struts for looking classy with the hood popped, trackey for cheap funsies.

Then pop the exhaust baffles out or put in some larger ones (can be bought from user 2012yellowboss on these forums).

I'm like you; I want to keep mine pretty stock. I am considering a shifter though. Getting sick of the notchy, crunchy feel of the MT82.
