I went out for a drive Sunday and had a really fun time. Some spirited driving on a back road. I must say that between the boss and my15 gt I think the boss is the best one for fun. I feel more planted in the boss and confident it will stick in the corners. Doing the boss track attack kinda helped too. I like both cars and not planning on getting rid of either one but I'm really considering another boss in the future once we can afford it. A 2004 comp og mach1 is still in consideration also. Just enjoy your bosses in a safe manner!

 

Interesting. I've never loved a car so much that I wanted two of the same car lol. If I had any other Mustangs, it would be a GT350R and a classic, most likely a '68 GT or GT500. I'd also like a really nice fox body Notch LX, all done up. That would be a great collection for me!

 

i want other mustangs also...just saying that the car seems to be the best of everything in power, balance, and fun factor.
if i find something i like i usually but multiple
i would consider the 2013 since it has a diff look to it similar to the 69-70 boss's
like my sig says, there are other mustangs in the want list, including the boss...

 

Gotcha. I love the look of both 12-13 Boss models, but I like the creature comforts of mine, which is why I went that route. There are a lot of Boss features that I have added or will add to mine though. I hate leather seats and have been looking for a set of the cloth/suede Boss covers for my Recaros. I want to have the center section replaced with the standard Recaro section though, so it doesn't say Boss 302 in my regular GT.

 

Swapped out the factory 2-piece driveshaft for the Ford Racing 1-Piece aluminum. Very easy install, noticeably quicker acceleration, and zero vibration.

 

Car is at the dealer getting the motor replaced. Being without the car is starting to weigh on me.

My GT is at the dealer right now getting everything in the rear end replaced. Lovely.

 

I am waiting to hear back as to what actually happened, looked like there were 3 holes in the block when I had it dropped off to them.

Picked my car up after getting my car back, drives well enough, was unable to get into it due to rain. I will be taking it out today at some point to continue with the break in.

 

i put my new True Forged 18 x 10 3pc Chicanes on.

They are custom powder coated by my friend Robbie in a textured anthracite center with agloss black lip.

We just got back from the GT350 Track Tour at Road America. As much as I like my Boss I have to admit that the GT350 is an order of magnitude higher in performance. The brakes are just fantastic! As a matter of fact the rear brakes on the GT350 are the same as the Boss' front Brembo's. Fantastic car! #GT350 Track Tour

 

This has nothing to do with my boss to sort of speak.

A friend stoped by with his 1990 fox body car. He just completed his motor and took me for a spin. It's a 302 bored out. I think he said it was now 331. well anyway, the car is set up for power. N/A he is pushing about 400whp. He is running a turbo and all the MSD electronics, fuel pumps, EFI. Bottom line there is so much to list in this car. Well....he had boost turned up to 16psi. This is about the 800whp range so I'm told. This thing was a rocket ship. Made my Boss feel like a joke. In third gear you could still feel the back end sliding around some. I have never riden or drove a car with that much HP and was taken back. I thought 500 hp was bad ***. But 800...WOW!!

He said it was capable of 20 or 22psi and should be in the range of 1000HP.

I could see myself getting into trouble with something that powerfull.

To all you guys and gals that have a mustang pushing that kind of power. I tip my hat to you because you have a very bad *** car. Just be carefull. Things happen SO FAST with that kind of power.

 

Very nice I'm going to the Limerock CT ride and drive 9/30 -10/1 and very much looking forward to it. :-)
