I put it together myself.

Here's the parts;

1 each - Peterson Fluid Systems 08-0400 Breather Can with -12 AN Ports - $90.00 on Amazon ($130 -140 everywhere else)

10 feet - Gates LOL Plus 12LOLB 3/4 inch

2 each - Earls's 700113ERL - 3/4 ID Super Stock Hose Ends

2 each - JEGS 100205 - Flare Union Male Threads -12 AN to -12 AN Blue

2 each - Spectre 3262 Hose End Clamp (5/8 Hose)

2 each - Socket Hd Cap Screws 1/4 inch with washers

1 box - 02253 - Bypass Cap Assortmnet (Auto Zone)

Tools

Drill, nutsert gun, wrenchs, screwdrivers

Position the Breather can on the fire wall, mark the holes.

Drill the holes.

Insert a couple of 1/4 inch nutserts

Mount the breather can put the hoses on from can to crankcase vents, cut hose to fit.

Remove the crackcase vents, remove the vent guts.

Finish installing the hoses.

Cap off intake manifold ports.

The only issue I had with that install is that you didn't include beer breaks in between.

I keep wanting to do this and I keep getting steered away as people feel losing vacuum in the crankcase robs sealing of rings a bit and a bit of power/economy.

Let me know what your long term impressions are, I'm definitely tired of seeing oil in the intake runners.

I Installed Sound Tube Delete

Christmas Eve. My Sound Tube Delete arrived from CoolTech.

Instead of putting together toys; my kids are all grown and they get to do it. I gave myself this present.

Question for those who have it already:

It seems that the cabin noise is really reduced; I can hear my exhausts way better and the engine;

Was the noise from the Sound Tube that terrible??? Or is it just a Placebo Effect?

Overall, a huge improvement just on a short Christmas Eve test drive.

Maybe its me. I like hood pins better
Did you have to cut the hood like that?
What did you use to do the cutting. to me it looks like, by cutting the bottom out you weaken the hood structure. yes / no??

I don't think the structure weakened but then again I'm no engineer. I used a cutting wheel for the straight areas and a grinder wheel for the circular sections. I have a whole write up that I was going to post on here.

Some what, the latches mount semi flush to the hood. They are Aerocatch, seem to be used on a bunch of race cars.

Picking up the MRT Boss H-pipe and high flow cats with their interceptor axle back. Currently have the Magnaflow comp cat back but might make the change over. We just picked up MRT, up here in MI and after seeing their product and place I had to give it a try.
