What can I get for my Boss? Please chime in..
I'm thinking about selling or trading my Boss. My Boss is a 12, Competition Orange with the Recaros and Torsen rear. It has 950 miles and is spotless and always covered in garage and like new. Not a tiny scratch.
What can I get for it? What should I ask for it?
Feel free to give me some numbers or advice. I paid Msrp 43500.00
Thanks so much for your help, Mike in Tampa

I bought my Kona Blue from a guy in Lakeland at the beginning of June this year. It had 156 miles on it, all options, owners kit too. I paid him $42,000. Hope that helps, but I can't fathom why you would want to part with it

Thanks so much for the advice and tips fellas. I'm going to see the best way to do this. I may list it on Ebay and Craigslist. I may also take it to 3 or 4 dealers and see what they would give for it. It would have to be their best..
Thanks for all your posts and help. Trust me, this is not an easy decision for me.
I love the Boss and even just went to the Track Attack up in Salt Lake City. That was simply awesome!
Thanks again, Mike

this makes me a sad panda.....
sell it privately, you will sell it faster and for more money than a trade in will yield. and what in the world would you trade for anyway? with only 950 miles....the car is not even broken in
If i had the extra cash I would give this car the home it deserves

Thanks so much for this data Jason! This really helps a lot, and I was thinking around 38,500 to 39,500. Dealer is able to give me 38,000 and I save money on the taxable trade in, so I'll get well over 40k for the Boss traded in.
Thank again

.........I Couldn't do It! I had an opportunity to get a 1.99% loan for a new car and was offered 40k for my Boss. I almost bought a platinum F-150 to accommodate my growing family Ecosboost of course twin turbo V6. Gorgeous truck. But! I took a long ride in my Boss, turned it past the 1000 mile marker and I felt like I was divorcing, and needed an intervention!! What was I thinking???! I need my Competetion Orange horse in my barn...

Keeping it sounds like a good decision. You just have to drive the thing. It's not a Ferrari or anything. It'd be a crime to own the car and let it sit in your garage.
On another note, '12s with some mileage seem to be keeping their value very well. That's great news for someone like me that buys a new car annually.
