302R...SICK. Did Pericak come down?
Nope, wasn't there. I suspect next year could be quite interesting though.
I had a devil of a time walking past this display all the time. It was like a gravity well, I couldn't stay away. It became a running joke amongst us. The best part was one of the engineers opening up his Toughbook, and 30 seconds later giving me my build status.

Just happened to be ay my dealer picking up my Ranger from service and watched while Comp. Orange BOSS 302 # 571 was unloaded from truck! Not mine but I thought you guys might be interested in the build number. Dealer says build date was 04/21. Car is already sold but I don't know to whom. Mine, Blaze Yellow Tri-Coat is due in next week.

However with a build date of this past week I think it'll be higher than that based on some of the #'s I've seen lately.
Buuuuuuut... If they pull a manifold from the box and get it ready to slap on the engine and it's BAD- meaning they have to reject the part and grab the next one, all bets are off. Not sure if the plate is part of the manifold, but if the plate is blemished or somehow is not meeting the visual standard for the part it could and should be rejected. I highly doubt they're engraving them as they go but I don't know the specifics.
If my theory holds water then you could literally get any number that hasn't been reported yet right? One of the top ten number plates COULD have been damaged causing the line worker to grab the next number in the stack and only when the original number plate's official replacement piece works it's way into the line will it get installed- assuming they replace the part with the same number... A lot of presumptions. That's what happens when you don't have your car yet. You have a lot of time on your hands to let your mind run.
Was hoping mine would be at this point since it's Devil Red

This car was very likely bought from the US dealer and then brought into Canada. It is listed in the dealer's used-car inventory. Interesting since the US-spec 2012's aren't allowed into Canada yet.

Granted I would love to have both options on mine, but I got what was available off the showroom floor. I know I can order a Torsen diff off of FRPP, can't be too long before the seats will be available, and it's probably safe to say I'll be able to get both for under what the MSRP on them is when included with the car... and that's before potentially selling off the stock parts.
