I created a Google Docs spreadsheet with the info from Posts #1 and #3.

Do you want to use this? I can add other editors (and I don't mind helping out) or you can download it and upload it with your own account...

I've updated post #2 to give some LS stats from the database.
Bob
At the moment Scott and I are using separate databases. We will likely want to merge them soon. Ron who runs the GT/CS registry set up an Access database for us. We have yet to merge our info into it though.
I wish it was that easy but it is not. I have a list of second day builds (2/15) and the numbers range from 0006 to 0048 with cars build on other dates mixed in. I have found four 2/14 cars and they are 1,2,4 and 22. The best you can come up with is build dates and how many cars were made that day. Even the blend number are all over the place. Blend 1656 is car 6, lowest blend for 2/15 is 1570 and car 31.
Blend numbers may have something to do with the order the cars came down the line but not VPC, I don't know. Maybe a car was build in a certain order but gets a number at VPC way out of line because there was a fault or problem with it. I thought maybe it could have something to do with test driving at the plant but mine was and that did not effect the build number.

Well thanks in part to Vince I found 5 and 12. Burst my bubble
as to having the first YB Boss since the only other YB on the early list turned out to be number 0005. The guy who got number 12 owns a company that makes aftermarket Mustang parts but was unaware the Bosses were numbered. Down to three cars built on the 15th without build numbers but but 3 or 8 could have a vin above 1000 and we have not found that yet.
Steve and Eddie are still in the running to have the first of their color
1ZVBP8CU0C5201256 Red/White 1 2/15 CA Blend 1596 dealer does not remember the build number
1ZVBP8CU5C5200345 White/Black 1,2 GA 2/15 BLEND 1676 youtube Boss dealer has no clue
1ZVBP8CU0C5200317 White/Black 1,2 NC 2/15 BLEND 1741 "due to privacy laws that info can not be given out" Must be a NC thing, lol

I really find this Vin thread interesting. Thanks to all for their participation.I have only seen one Boss 302 in Minnesota and it was in a dealer showroom and is now gone. I have not seen any Boss 302 Mustangs on the highways or streets of Minnesota. I wonder what happens to them after they are sold. Are people putting them in storage ?
