Here the results of my number crunching today: (July 12th, 2011)
Highest LS#: LS314
# of cars in database: 276
# of cars registered with LS#: 85
# of cars with accessory option: 250
# of cars with block heater: 5
# of black cars: 220
# of silver cars: 56
# of Canadian-spec LS'es: 12
# of LS'es wrecked on the train: 2 (found so far)
# of special production cars: 1

Do you actually have a database you're using to keep track of these things? I started tinkering around with MS Access yesterday (bored at work), trying to throw something halfway decent together for you guys. It'll be pretty robust and will allow you to pull reports (ex. All RR no option cars in TX delivered in the month of July.)

You can try using a pivot table in excel to summarize the data cells you are tracking. The current pivot table wizard makes it very easy to use.

That's is what see when reading your post but as Chris says any help would be greatly appreciated. Once it is setup and I can just add some some numbers in that would be great. The only real problem is how to post for public view?
