Tuning the boss

Since track key is no longer available, does anyone have a link to a guide or something for the whole tuning thing? I'm in my 30s but I've always done more old school performance tinkering. This is the first car I've had where a tune is worth it. I know I can google it but it'll take me days to track down what works best etc. thanks for any help

I'm not an expert but I will say most of us do not do our own tuning.

Most shops with a dyno have a person who tunes as well... More like most tuners have a dyno but anyway, they hook a laptop up to your OBD sensor and run your car on the dyno. I think they use the power output readings combined with the data recording to determine what to change in the tune.

These are pretty complex cars. I'd contact well know tuners for a tune.

Shaun at AED shaun@aedhp.com

He works wonders with these cars.

I mean, not to imply that OP couldn't figure it out if desired. And I don't know enough to answer the question but I'm a little intimidated by the equipment costs. Also being pretty good with computers (professional software developer for 15 years), I can imagine how complex electronic tuning could get. Also one bad hex conversion and kaboom.

I am sure the gents over at steeda can help you as well. Buy a handheld and some tunes.

Well my car is stock as can be for now. There is obviously more to squeeze out until I do make a change.
