True 4inch intake?

True 4inch intake?
Does anyone offer a true 4 inch cold air intake?
I am running the Ford Racing 90mm throttle body port matched to the Boss intake (without the ford neck down adapter). All the cold air intakes I have seen, have large cross sections that neck down to 85mm or so to attach to the stock throttle body. To me this seems to be the equivalent of a restrictor plate.
To date, I have purchased the Steeda intake, which also necks down, but their intake uses the original Ford cold air scoop and has a 104mm casting at the mass air flow sensor. Features that I figure I could use to make a custom intake if I had to. Currently I am running a 3.5 inch to 4 inch adapter at the throttle body with the Steeda intake.

Hi Dave,
A friend of mine went to the PRI show in Orlando and told me he saw a Boss 302SX project car that had a huge CAI, 105MM mono blade throttle body and an intake manifold that looks similar to the Boss 302's one. Later on at Daytona I talked to a Ford rep. about this and he said that it's the normaly aspirated Cobra Jet engine in that car and it makes over 500 HP. How much over I asked, he would not say. I think this might be the one you are looking for. If you find any good info on this setup please let me know. I sure would love to have one in my car!
Regards,
Rob

Thanks guys, I have seen the 5.0 CJ setup, for some reason - brain fade, never thought of calling Ford Racing to see if it could be made available.
I have seen the round throttle body, instead of the oval on the CJ, so not sure what the photo is.

The photo is from an article about the possible building of a Boss 302SX.
I think this was the original link

Hi Dave and Jason !
That is exactly the one I was talking about. I hope to see some Ford guys at the May 26-27 Sebring event to ask them more about this. I did talk to one Ford guy at Daytona and he said the more we ask the better the chances are that they will offer it through Ford Racing. Can you imagine putting on the intake manifold, throttle body, CAI and the cams and having over 500 HP normaly aspirated ?

That CJ manifold is the only that would make me swap off my Boss manifold. Ford engineers said 25 HP for the manifold and I'm sure the TB/intake add a bit more than that. No reason to buy an intake for our cars now with questionable gains when this sexy beast might be coming out!
