I came up with this look for my car and so far i'am been Dam happy with the car .
300AGT, Do you like the handling on your KONI + Steeda set up?
Probably I will wait until I have a decent deal.
Compared my present GT Brembo with my prior '02 Porsche Carrera that I used to track, I really don't miss that car, FORD made a great car.. I bought it after readed the M3 VS Brembo article in MT mag.

That's nice to hear. I think I'm going to be selling my 993 soon. Not enough room for two toys sadly.

Boss 302 = GT3, LS = GT3 RS. Well almost.

I would love to have a boss. However if your going to trade up to anything it should be a GT500. Especially considering a 600 HP beast in the future.

You are correct. The GT500 SVTPP at invoice is a tremendous value.

Not everyone is looking for a blown engine. Besides it's hard to take a Giants fan comment seriously while living in Dodger Country.

It really depends on how you are going to use the car. If you want to use it on a road course, the Boss is still the better option. If you want it for street use and love to blast down highway on ramps being pinned to your seat, or you like to drag race, the GT500 is probably a better option. When I bought the GT500, the Coyote motor or Boss weren't available. Now there are so many Mustang options, you can buy the one that most closely matches your purpose for the car. That being said, most will still get modified to some extent

To each their own, there are many people are getting blown (Giggity) and having no issues with that especially considering you are getting a factory warranty on supercharged vehicle.

I think they will take our comments much seriously now that we can actually get beat the phillies. Something they can't and will never do.

I'm sorry I happen to have short term memory... Who won the works series last year?

That's what I've convinced myself. At the very least, it's going to be massively faster around the local tracks.

As stated by cloud9, it's all about intended usage. The GT500 isn't even on my radar but the second I read about the Boss, I knew I had to have one.

I'm more into high revving engines and I have no interest in a GT500 although they are awesome cars. I know who won, I'm married to a Giants fan. But...

L.A. Dodgers = FIVE World Championships

S.F. Giants = One World Championship

Yeah I suppose it would depend on what you use the car for, but GT500 revs high and has more HP. I'll take the 100 HP on any given day.

Giants have 5 championships now, not that I'm expecting dodger fans to remember the brooklyn days since they were the laughing stock of the NY teams back in the early 1900's

For 10 grand less, the Boss was perfect for me. I don't plan on tracking it much if at all...but I wanted something different that I wouldn't have to change the exhaust right away on(thus not a GT). The 600hp GT500 kinda makes me laugh...they have trouble putting the 550 to it currently while keeping traction. Extra hp isn't always the answer. It does help though

I'm, unfortunately, not even able to consider a Boss right now, but if I were in your situation it would boil down to 2 questions:
1) Do I have the money for the trade?
2) Am I looking at keeping the Boss for the long haul? (meaning not give it up in 5-10 years)

If the answer to both questions is a "yes", then I say go for it without hesitation. If however either one is a "no", I'd hold off.

Waiting for the 2013s might not be a good idea, expecially if next year is the LAST year for the Boss.......you thought the Boss was hard to get this year, just wait.

The same was said for the GT500 with less competition than the Boss. I've seen some gold rushes for Mustang SEs but none as I did for the '07 GT500. By the time the '08 MY came about it had settle down. I don't expect the Boss to be any different.

This is very early stage when many feel they don't want to miss the boat, to dealers' delight. I would state patience is a virtue, once inventories grow and dealers have a Boss seating in their showrooms for a couple of months offers will be more receptive.

Hi i think the Steeda sport springs and Koni are one of the best things i done to the car. Call Sam Strano here a link to his shop http://www.stranoparts.com/ you tell him what you are trying to do with your car and he can come up with a plan to get you from point A to point B at the best cost . Realy the spring and shock & struts were a nite to day change on the car to me .

Don't try to play catch up, enjoy your car, I love my 08 and can't see trading it for anything no matter how much faster it is

The '11 Brembo GT is awesome (I've been lucky enough to drive one) so just choose a few tasteful mods and enjoy it
Yes! Wait a bit for the 2013 I got my 11 Pace Car and just after they announced the Boss! Not the first time that has happened to me.

Yes true, but did Ford say in 07 that the GT500 was a limited production car. I heard there would be 1500/500 Boss302s/LS in 2012 and the same in 2013 and that is it.....just a rumor though.

Yes they did. The estimated production was 7K for the GT500, I believe about 9K was the actual production while the Boss is projected to be 7K for the two year run. Projected is a key word.

The '03 - '04 Mach 1 was also supposed to be a limited production which I believe was exceeded. My point is Ford always promotes limited productions on SEs to imply scarcity only to increase productions when sales figures command it.
