Just wondering what does yours say in the cluster "TRACKEY IDLE ENABLED or TRACKEY ENGINE ENABLED". I will be getting mine done next week and just curious as it says depending on build date as to what it will say.

 

When the Boss has track key installed and the car foes into the Lopely idle mode, depending on the build date of your Boss some will display the word ENGINE (early builds) in place of the word IDLE.

 

Does anyone know on what build date the programming was switched? I have a very early car so I have the earlier programming.

After your track key is activated by your Ford dealer, whenever you insert your track key and start your engine you will see the following message:
TRACKEY ACTIVE
TRACK USE ONLY
Needless to say I never use my track key unless I am at the track . To prevent this message from flashing just hit the reset button and it will clear it.
After three conditions are meet, coolant temp. at 170*F for 130 seconds, engine NOT at idle, and no DETECTED failures you will see the following message:
TRACK
IDLE ENABLED
You can then reset this message like the other.
