OK, taking another shot at this. I saw the email about TracKey availability on November 1st and immediately contacted my dealer. They had it ordered within 30 minutes and I was told I'll have it by early next week I for one am really jacked about this. I can't wait to get it on the dyno to see the differences, but more importantly can't wait to put it to use on the track.

For those that are planning to order TracKey, please post up. I know it has a snowball's chance in hell of happening, but I'd love to have at least one TracKey thread for those of us that are installing it and want to talk about its potential benefits versus being querulous. Just remember, none of the Chevy, Porsche or BMW boys have this!

 

Ordered and appointment made for the 1st my dealer assures me it will be here by then.

 

My dealer didn't even know it existed when I stopped in on Saturday....soooooo yeah.

 

Most dealers will have a tiny fraction of the information us owners have about it. Mine didn't know they could order it until I told them. That's going to be the norm. Most dealers sold 1 or less Boss 302s so it makes little sense for them to spend time researching it. Just educate them and I'm sure they'll be happy to order it for you.

 

The service manager at the dealership where I ordered was very up to date on trackey and already new about the email by the time I first saw it. Since then I have not been able to get any info from him or a return call. I called two othe dealers and the last one called back and left a message on my cell that it was a Boss program only for the Boss and that if I wanted more info I would need to call Boss direct. I started to call back to ask him for the number for Boss but decided it wasn't worth my time.

 

Planning on it after break in miles. 1st I have to get the Boss which should be the end of Nov or Dec or ?

Called today to place my order. Dealership wasn't fully up to speed on it's availability but they are going to check into ordering it for me- so I fully expect to have it installed next week.

 

I have it on order after providing the dealer with the details.

 

Passed the letter on to my service advisor today. The Boss will be dropped off next Tuesday for the install.

 

going to check in with dealer tommrow... thought we couldnt order till NOV 2

 

and looking forward to it.

 

Ordered and install scheduled for mid December when I am back in country. I just hope the weather is OK so I can get it there.

 

I'll likely get it too. I am trying to find other Arizona Boss owners in order to try and get a "group" discount from a dealer. So far I have two other boss owners that will join me. We are all calling around to try and find a good dealer and a good deal.

Doubt my dealer has a clue.. I will be stopping by tomorrow with letter in hand for him to order..after waiting this long...it's a definate I will install.

 

What are you trying to get a deal on? Are they jacking the price of the programming itself, or you trying to reduce the 1hr labor time to install?

 

Same for me, Im sure my dealer doesnt have a clue, but I am calling today to set up the appointment,

 

Ordered mine yesterday (the 25th), expect to receive and load it at the dealership next Thursday or so. My understanding is that they won't ship until 1 November (next Tuesday).
UFNavy06: want it for the Lowcountry Annual Show on 5 November.

I'm going to wait abit. I'd rather spend the 400 dollars right now on getting a month ahead on my car payments.
