The service rep told me Saturday when I picked up my Boss that TracKey would be available November.
Either another data point kicking the can down the road, or just more chaff.

November?!?!?! If this had been known I would have saved myself 60 large Canadian and driven and sold my BMW at less of a loss and played with my '65 Fastback one more year and then bought the "refined" '13. In my fave Grabber Orange. Factoring in the costs of wanting a Boss to enjoy as soon as possible this side of the border would have bought me a nice Ford Focus as well. Not happy.

Tbh I'm really impressed with the throttle response on the factory tune. Doesn't require me to stomp the gas to down shift like the factory tune on my gt. Just a quick blip and she zings right up there.

Yea it's not like it doesn't run well with the stock tune on the track. I hope my expectations aren't too high in terms of what it will do for track performance. There's probably no magic that will make our 5.0L equal to the Z06 7.0L. This engine turns out a ton of power for its size. I am really curious about the changes it will make on track. That said I have a big enough baseline for comparison now, let's get on with it!

I hear ya. Even if we had the power of an ls7, the boss still weighs significantly more. Gotta make the driver mod count!

Lol . The throttle is the long skinny one on the right.

Seriously though, you have nothing to fear but fear itself.

Eh 500 lbs less and an inch more rubber, PLUS the 100 hp with intake tune and exhaust is too much against my buddies that can drive. Sure I can still pass inexperienced drivers, but even PJ might struggle in the Boss against a capable driver in a Z06.

I don't know, Porsche, Ferrari, and a few others all put out in excess of 100 hp per liter. I think there's plenty more left in the Boss engine if you don't mind rebuilding it more frequently.

I will see if this is covered under warranty. If not I will show them my lap times, I'm sure I will get a partial refund.

Dave Pericak just announced at the Boss Reunion that Trackey has been approved and should hit the dealerships soon. He didn't give an exact time frame but at least approved!

Speachless!!!!!!!

How long does it take to update the Ford Service Network Server?? I would think it should just be a matter of hours, or overnight update...
