If you recently got a Boss you are SOL on the track key. It's no longer available and dealer computers were updated and can't do it if they wanted to.

 

2012/2013 BOSS TracKey tune is back! Retails $689.00 per Ford Performance, part #M-9603-MBTKA. Levittown Ford has it discounted for $573.85.

?, don't know what you mean. are referring to the FP Calibration pt #M-9603-MGTB for 2011-2014 Mustang GTs?

 

No. The old part number was M-14204-MGTTKA. For 2014.5 GTs with 6MT they offered a TracKey as well.

I have one, but I can't allow anyone to touch the computer otherwise I might need to send my PCM to Ford Performance in order to get the TracKey reloaded. So I'm just wondering if I can stop being paranoid.

Notice it's similar to the old Boss TracKey, I.e., no ProCal tool. So I think they need to redo mine using the ProCal implementation in order for me to stop being paranoid. And I'm betting it doesn't happen.

Hey All,

I am the new owner of a 2012 Boss. My question pertains to the Lopey idle associated with the Track Key package. When I start with the Red Key, the dash illuminates "Track Key Active Track Use Only". Once the car is warmed, I hear the chime but there is no message "Trackey - Engine Enabled and really can't hear the lopey idle. Ant thoughts, comments?????
